Hiking in Zion National Park

Ranked as number five on National Geographic’s 100 Best Adventures, Zion National Park is recognized for its enormous canyons and marvelously sculptured rock formations. It is a perfect destination for hiking and became a favorite spot for hikers from around the world. Zion boasts two hundred twenty-nine miles of canyon that endowed with numerous opportunities of sight-seeing. It became one of the admirations of every hiker, from a novice to a pro. Zion’s sole ecosystem is a great place to take a short walk and examine the nature. You can also climb until the top of one of Zion’s highest peaks and see the beautiful view of Zion National Park. Canyoneering at Zion National Park

You will not be able to tell your friends that you have been to Zion unless you have tried it. Be prepared to climb the boulders, up and down; swim into the water, without thinking of the cold temperature of it; and of course next to it rappelling, it is not exciting as you think if you will not try it as well. The length of Orderville Canyon is thirteen miles and the span of time of hiking is seven hours. For individuals who have a moderate knowledge of hiking, why not try the Observation Point? The length of it is seven miles and hikers will be picked up after 5 hours after starting the hiking. East Mesa Trail is the starting point of the hike. You can see a cyclorama view of Virgin River, Scout Lookout, Temple of Sinawava and Angels Landing. It is though demanding yet it offers a magnificent view. Third on the list are the Cable Mountain and Deer Trap Mountain trails. This have a length of eight to nine miles and span of time of hiking is five hours. This is an easy to moderate hiking trail. Cable Mountain offers the view of the Observation Point, Great White Throne, West border of the Zion Park and the Angels Landing. The Deer Trap Mountain trail is nine miles in length and boasts the view of Twin Brothers, Court of the Patriarchs, and the East Temple.

Trails like Echo Canyon, Canyon Overlook, and the East Entrance are the easy ones in Zion National Park hiking tours. The Echo Canyon is recognized for its switchbacks. It has cliffs and amazing panoramic view of Angels Landing. The Weeping Rock will be the endpoint of the hike. The length of the Echo Canyon is three miles and it will be two hours of hiking. Canyon Overlook is the hike that is available all year round. There is a picturesque trail of the spot where the people back in 1920s used to inspect the construction of the tunnel. The length of the trail is two miles and one hour of walking. Last on the list is the East Entrance trail. The length of the trail is three miles and two hours of easy walking. There will be an overlook of the White Cliff canyon. The trail boasts an overwhelming view of Checkerboard Mesa.
