This map shows that Zion National Park is located in a remote part of Southern Utah so there are no established roads nearby. Good thing St. George sits close Zion, making it perfect for tourist destinations. Also, take note of the major gateway cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Salt Lake City to easily drive distances. While there are also trails into Zion Canyon that shows roads through Zion Mt. Carmel Highway, or Byway 9 and many also are located at the Canyon. But better yet try the breathtaking ride to Mt. Carmel for much exciting trip.
