In Northern California, Lassen Volcano is an active volcano that now becomes an interesting volcanic park, named after the peak of the Lassen National Park. Although it’s considered wonderful scenery of nature, it has been reported to let the most recent volcanic eruption happen in the U.S. not until the mountains of St. Helens have also declared its massive explosion in the year 1980.

california-lassen-volcanoLassen Peak began to erupt on May 1914, and it was over the next seven years that it exploded for irregular intervals of years. Year after, there appeared a huge mushroom-like cloudy skies, making a change of volcano’s activity in its surroundings so the activity of making it a national park came into life in 1916, thus named Lassen National Park. Studded on the scenery of the lava containing volcanic peaks, this also now contains the Lava Beds National Monument in California and National Park in Oregon, giving it a blast of strange concepts despite the dangerous areas.

Nowadays, Lassen does not gain most of the population and visitors because of its uneven stage but in return, all that pays attention to the peak can enjoy strolling around the park without worries of tons of crowd and traffic. Also, they can have definite freedom of exploring the challenging backcountry of Lassen through tough backpacking and hiking. To most of those not afraid of heights and extreme sports, they can travel over 100,000 acres to more than 150 square miles of wildlife track. They can have the most unforgettable experience of endless views and interesting volcanic features, forests and walking tours would be such a different kind of exploration than any other explorations.

However, Lassen Peak does not have a lot to lodge in to stay longer most especially to those afraid of camping but there are still numbers of Northern California rentals for them to settle convenience as it shares great places to relax after a whole day of travelling and hiking over the Lassen edges. Northern California rentals make it a point to consider comfort of the tourists along with a sense of enjoyment while viewing nature. These definitely are great partners of the Lassen National Park as they keep viewers coming in. At the end of the day, despite the active state of this volcano, it stays to have one-of-a-kind views that tourists shouldn’t ever miss if they want to drive adventure once more.
