Antelope Canyon review

When you are in Page you will probably want to check out Antelope Canyon. Lake Powell is directly attached to Antelope Canyon. This is a short Antelope Canyon review.

Here an Antelope Canyon picture (click to enlarge):

I got a coupon for Antelope Canyon but enjoying my day around Lake Powell I did not make any use of it. I drove to the park by car. Entrance fee is 20$ unless you have a national park pass.

Antelope Canyon dissappointed me as I saw no real Canyon. Only some ciffs around Lake Powell, but really, you can already see them from Page. I recommend you not to check out Antelope Canyon. However, I have to say, I have only been at Antelope very short.

Hope you enjoyed my Antelope Canyon review. My rating for Antelope Canyon is 3/10.

Differrence of opinion here… I give it a 9/10 or a 10/10. I’m not sure if you actually went into the canyons at antelope canyon… if you took that photo you did and you’ve got different tastes than most of the people who visit there, but if you didn’t you really missed out by not going in. They’re actually a few miles from the lake and aren’t canyons you pull over by the side of the road and look at, they’re basically cracks in the earth you walk through and they are spectacular! We enjoyed walking through these canyons more than looking at the Grand Canyon.

    Wow, what a place!

    Hey Steve,

yes. We have not been in there completely. We went in like around half a mile. I must say that I was a little tired on that day :-( . We drove and drove the whole weak. When have you been there? Did you take the national park tour, or just went to Lake Powell?
